A journal for stocks
and every option leg.

Fills paired into trades, options counted the way they trade, and your broker’s export read as it is. You add the why.

Why stock journals go stale

Stocks and options

Counted the way they trade.

Stocks are a dollar a share. Options are the premium times 100, and a long option risks its premium. An option still open at expiry closes at 0.

  • A ticker like PLTR or SIRI stays a stock, not a future
  • Fills merge into positions, so a scale-in is one decision

Questions

Quick answers.

Do you support thinkorswim and Webull?+
Yes. Their exports are read as they are, with no columns to match. Interactive Brokers can also sync on its own (Pro).
How are options counted?+
The premium times 100 (or the future’s point value for options on futures), and a long option’s risk is its premium.
What happens to an option that expired?+
One still open at expiry closes at 0 in your journal.
Can I journal stocks and futures together?+
Yes. Each account picks what it trades, or a mix, and the maths follows it.
