Week of October 1927 updates

Oct 24

Launch day is Saturday, November 14

  • Start Pro by launch day and your first 3 months are 50% off: $14.50 a month, then $29. The countdown is on your dashboard.
  • Every account made by launch day wears the Founding badge on its trader card, for good.
Oct 24

Kraken syncs too

  • Connect Kraken once in Settings, Auto-sync, with a key that can only read your trades, and every trade comes in by itself. Its Trades export file imports as it is, too.
  • Every other platform is listed there with where it stands: the ones we’ve asked for access, the next ones, and those that come in by file. Star the one you want next.
Oct 24

Your journal, locked a little tighter

  • A new row in the sidebar asks you to confirm your email, with a Resend button, until you have: your weekly recap and habit emails only go to a confirmed address.
  • The evaluation trophy card keeps the name of your account to yourself, as the privacy note always said.
  • Behind the scenes: the page now refuses any script it did not ship, undo restores from the server alone, and each setting the app saves is checked against a list.
Oct 23

Imports read numbers the way your platform writes them

  • A European export reads as written: 12,5 is twelve and a half, 1.234,56 is one thousand two hundred and thirty-four, and 23/04/2026 or 23.04.2026 is the 23rd of April. A plus sign in front of a profit is fine too.
  • A stock whose ticker starts like a futures root (PLTR, SIRI, CLF) is a stock again, not platinum, silver or crude: no borrowed point value, and no false risk warning.
Oct 23

Your trades, in on their own

  • Connect Interactive Brokers or Coinbase once in Settings, Auto-sync, and every trade comes in by itself: every 6 hours, or when you press Sync now. No more exporting files.
  • Read-only: an IBKR Flex token or a Coinbase View key can’t trade or move money. What you paste is encrypted and never shown again. Part of Pro.
Oct 23

The best voice, built in

  • On a computer, the first time you press a mic Journalcade sets up its best voice: Whisper large-v3-turbo, the most accurate free speech model that runs on a computer. It punctuates for you, and your voice never leaves your computer.
  • A one-time 1.6 GB download, about 3 minutes; talk any time while it gets ready. Already using accurate voice? It upgrades by itself.
Oct 23

Voice learns your words

  • Put a misheard word right just after you talk and a chip offers to learn it: “M and Q” → MNQ, always.
  • Every word you teach it is used from then on, on every device. See them in Settings, Voice.
Oct 23

Talk it through, and it’s written up

  • Talk through a trade into its notes, then tap “Write it up”: what you said is sorted into why you took it, what happened, how you felt and the lesson, every line in your own words.
  • It lists the feelings, setups and mistakes it heard, like FOMO, an ORB or a moved stop. Tap one to add it to the trade, or add them all.
  • On the capture pad, say how it feels and the feeling is picked for you. All on your device: nothing is sent anywhere.
Oct 22

What if you had followed a rule?

  • Reports → What if plays your real trades again under rules you pick: stop after two losses, a daily loss limit, A trades only, nothing before 9:45, a wait after a loss, a size cap and more.
  • See the two curves, as you traded and with your rules, the numbers side by side, and the trades a rule would have left out.
  • It ranks the rules that would have helped you most, with gold, silver and bronze. Tap one to try it, then see if your rules would have passed a prop-firm evaluation.
Oct 22

A tilt meter that watches while you trade

  • Calm, Warming up, Hot or Tilt: a gauge in the sidebar and on the capture pad while you trade, reading today against your own normal.
  • Tap it to see what is driving it: trades coming faster, size going up after a loss, quicker exits, straight back in after a loss, losses in a row, how you say you feel, and the very trades behind each.
  • At Tilt it can start your cool-down by itself, and the journal locks until it ends. Turn that off in the meter if you prefer just the read.
Oct 22

Drop the file your platform gives you

  • Interactive Brokers, thinkorswim, Webull, MetaTrader 4 and 5, Binance and Coinbase are read whole: drop the export as it is, with no columns to match.
  • Your buys and sells are paired into trades, each with the fees your platform charged taken off.
  • An option that expired closes at 0, a market the file brings is added to the account, and positions still open wait until you close them.
Oct 22

Funded accounts, done right

  • A funded account has no profit target. You build your buffer, by default to where your drawdown stops trailing, and the card shows it filling.
  • The payout quest counts your winning days since your last payout, with the consistency rule over the same days, and says when a payout is ready.
  • Log a payout on the card and it comes off the balance, so your drawdown room stays true. The account form now asks only what fits the account: evaluation, funded, personal or demo.
Oct 22

Every market does its own maths

  • Options: SPY 450C or an OCC symbol reads as its strike, call or put and expiry; P&L is the premium times 100, and a long option’s risk is its premium.
  • Forex: lots and pips. Stops and targets are typed in pips, with a pip’s value by pair; pairs with no dollar side take the P&L you type.
  • Crypto: fractional coins, and a fee as a percent of what changes hands, set on the account. Stocks in a mixed account no longer pay contract fees.
Oct 22

Meet Ace, your coach

  • Your coach has a name: Ace, the glowing orb. It answers from your own journal, instantly, and your chats stay in your history for 14 days.
  • On a paid Pro plan, turn on Ace AI and ask anything about your trades. Claude, from Anthropic, writes the answers: 20 a day, with a meter.
  • Your written notes, screenshots and email are never sent.
Oct 22

Your markets, account by account

  • Each account now says what it trades: futures, stocks, options, forex or crypto, or a mix. Pick them in the account’s settings.
  • Stocks work out the P&L and the risk a share by themselves. Options, forex and crypto take the P&L and risk you type, with their own maths next.
  • Trade more than one market? Filter by market, and Reports → What you trade puts them side by side.
Oct 21

Save your report as a PDF

  • Tap PDF on Reports or on your weekly review. Pick the chapters and the stretch, then save.
  • The front page is your report card: process grade, level, XP, rating, streak, badges and medals.
  • Every number keeps its explanation, printed under it. Keep it, or send it to a mentor.
Oct 21

Practice quests

  • Turn a leak into practice: tap Practice it on any leak in Reports. One habit goal, and the trades it is about. Breaking a setup’s checklist now shows as a leak too, and you can practice your own feelings tags: avoid one (No “FOMO” trades) or aim for one.
  • Each new trade fills a dot: green when you kept the habit, red when it slipped. Clean runs light up.
  • After 20 trades, check back: if you slipped less than before, you earn a gold, silver or bronze medal. Habits only, never profit.
Oct 21

Free is changing

  • In 30 days, Free keeps 30 new trades a month, your last 30 days on screen, one account and one screenshot a trade. Your Dashboard counts down.
  • Nothing you logged is deleted, and export always works.
  • Pro keeps it all: every trade, your whole history, every account.
Oct 21

Would I have passed?

  • Reports → Would I pass? plays your real trades against a prop firm evaluation (Apex, Topstep, Take Profit Trader, or your own account’s rules): passed, failed, or still going, and on which day.
  • Watch your balance against the target and the floor as it trails, day by day.
  • Every start: a fresh try on each day of the stretch, so you see how often you would pass, not just once.
Oct 21

Compare: this against that

  • Reports → Compare puts two groups of trades face to face: before and after a change, checklist kept or broken, one setup against another, long against short, and more, in one tap.
  • A crown on the side that made more a trade, row by row, with a badge that says whether the gap is clear or could be luck.
  • Keep a comparison by name, and keep the Trades page filters as a named view too: one tap to use them again.
Oct 21

Our Terms, updated

  • One new section: the app and its code are ours. Use it all you like, but don’t copy it, take it apart or scrape it.
  • Nothing changes for your journal, your data or your plan.
Oct 21

Templates, drafts and note history

  • Start any note with a template: ready-made prompts for a trade, a lesson, your day and your morning plan, or save your own. Prompts earn nothing; your answers fill the meter.
  • Close the page by accident and your unsaved words wait for you: tap Bring back.
  • History keeps your note’s earlier versions. Restore one any time: what it replaces is kept too, and a second device never wipes your words.
Oct 21

A checklist for every setup

  • In the Playbook, give each setup its own rules, one a line. Then every trade with that setup gets them as a checklist: ✓ followed, ✗ broke it, – didn’t apply.
  • Each setup’s card shows how often every rule held, the result both ways, and the rule you break most.
  • Editing a checklist never changes trades you already checked: each one keeps the rules it was checked against.
Oct 20

Open it on your TradingView

  • In any trade, TradingView ↗ opens that exact contract on your own TradingView: signed in, with your broker, your drawings and your indicators.
  • On Intel, Open in TradingView takes you to NQ. Use Go to (Alt+G) there to jump to a trade’s time.
Oct 19

Skill or luck?

  • Under your equity curve: do your results look like skill, or could they still be luck? It answers in plain words.
  • When you are below your highest point, it says if the dip is normal for you, bigger than usual, or unusual, and the chart shades the range that is normal for you.
  • At your highest point, it tells you how big a usual dip is for you, so the next one does not surprise you.
Oct 19

One plan: every size fits your rules

  • Your rules are the ceiling now. Every size the Game Plan suggests (the daily max, each grade’s risk and the contracts) fits inside them, and a small tag shows where one of your rules set the number.
  • One Save plan button saves your rules and how your risk is split, together.
  • The account card, the trade editor and the morning check-in show the same sizes, and the app says “your plan” everywhere.
Oct 19

Passed or failed: close out an evaluation

  • Reach the target and the banner asks whether your firm passed you. Say yes and the card turns gold: a trophy, the habits that got you there, your badges and a card to share.
  • Hit the floor and it asks you to confirm the fail, then turns into a review: what you did well, a badge for each, and up to three things to work on.
  • Set up the funded account, or start a new attempt, from the card: its limits, fees and rules come with it. Every attempt stays on Accounts as your history.

Week of October 121 update

Oct 18

Each page keeps its own account

  • Pick one account on the Dashboard and another on Trades: each page remembers its own, and changing one no longer changes the other.
  • The sidebar shows the account of the page you are on, and switches it for that page.
  • Each picker wears its account’s colour, so you can tell at a glance which account you’re looking at.

Week of October 516 updates

Oct 11

The Dashboard shows the Dashboard

  • Pick an account and the Dashboard sticks to that account’s own stats, charts and quests.
  • Its full card (balance, drawdown room, target, daily limit and the boss fight) now lives on Accounts.
  • A slim status bar on the Dashboard shows how the account stands, with its two meters and a link to the full card.
Oct 8

A clearer start

  • A new journal opens with one card: your first steps in order (your account first, then your trades), the one thing to do now, and what your journal unlocks as it fills.
  • Plainer headings on the Journal, Trades and Accounts pages.
Oct 8

How is this calculated?

  • Hover or tap the “i” next to a number: what it means, the formula, and the same formula worked through with your own figures, so you can check every number.
  • On your dashboard, the trader rating, your level and XP, and each trade’s R. Open them all to complete “Know your numbers”.
Oct 8

Full run: what you left on the table

  • A new box next to Max Run: how far price went your way before it would have hit your stop, even after you got out. The session review asks for it while your chart is still open, with a tap for 1R to 5R.
  • Each trade shows what it left on the table, and Reports, Risk shows every setup’s typical full run against what you took, and the target that would have paid most.
Oct 8

Your captures fill in your journal

  • Import the day’s trades and each capture finds its trade by time: the setup, grade, plan check, feeling and your line go in by themselves, never over what you wrote. Copies of a trade on several accounts all get it.
  • Then the session review: one trade at a time, only what’s still missing, in under three minutes. It ends with the setups you saw and passed, and your pattern.
Oct 8

Voice typing, more accurate

  • It knows your setups, tags and tickers and trading words like VWAP, ORB and A+, picks the guess that fits, and adds full stops when you pause. Add your own fixes in Settings, Voice.
  • On a computer, turn on accurate voice: Whisper runs right in your browser, free, and your voice never leaves it.
Oct 8

Capture as you trade

  • A small pad that floats above your trading platform (Chrome and Edge), or opens full screen on your phone. A few taps: long or short, the setup, its grade, in your plan or off it, the feeling, or say one line.
  • “Missed one” logs a setup you saw and passed, and why. Every capture earns stars for a complete read and counts toward your daily goal. Press C, or Capture pad on today’s session card.
Oct 8

Talk anywhere you type

  • Click into any box you write in (the check-in, the day’s review, the coach, the Playbook) and a mic appears inside it.
  • Your morning outlook gets the full notes editor too: fonts, colours, lists and more.
Oct 8

Talk your notes

  • Press the mic on any note and talk: your words type themselves, ready to format.
  • Say “comma”, “period” or “new line” for punctuation. Works in Chrome, Edge and Safari.
Oct 8

Notes, written like Google Docs

  • Fonts and sizes, bold, italic, underline, colour and highlight, headings, lists and checklists, links and alignment, with undo and redo.
  • A meter fills as you write: a quick note, a solid read, the full story.
Oct 8

Medals for staying with Pro

  • Bronze at 3 months of Pro, Silver at 6, Gold at 12, on your trader card. Once earned, they stay.
  • Near the end of each Pro month, a short recap of what you used it for.
Oct 8

Switch to yearly in one tap

  • From your second month (once any discount has run out), Settings shows the yearly price: $21.75 a month instead of $29.
  • What’s left of your month is credited, and the year starts the day you switch.
Oct 6

Pause instead of cancel

  • Taking a break? Pause a monthly plan for 1 to 3 months: nothing is charged, and Pro comes back by itself.
  • Your journal stays open the whole time, and you can resume early.
Oct 6

Invite a trading buddy, and these notes

  • After a level or a clean week, an invite to bring a friend along: check in together, race for the podium.
  • Every update now lands here, with a button to try it.
Oct 6

Previews from your own journal

  • Reports, Intel and the leaderboard each show one real finding from your trades.
  • Now and then a Pro drop when you have earned something: a level, a strong week, an edge.
Oct 6

The podium

  • Each week’s top three journalers hold the podium all the next week.
  • Every top-three finish adds a cup to your trophy shelf.
  • A finish unlocks a link to your X or YouTube, checked before it shows.

Week of September 284 updates

Oct 4

Emails that build the habit

  • A nudge when a review run is about to break, and your week, wrapped, every Saturday morning.
  • Pick which ones you get, or none.
Oct 4

Your rules come first

  • Each account has its own rules, and changing one never rewrites your past days.
  • Setups you mark “never” count as breaking your plan; every Playbook setup is inside it.
  • Grade-and-size and the risk ladder are practice tools now.
Oct 4

Pro, by the year

  • Pay yearly and save 25%: $261 instead of $348.
Oct 1

Clearer checks

  • A trade that breaks your plan now names the rule it broke.
  • Hover any chart for its numbers.
  • The reset has five new feelings, all voiced: scared, greedy, impatient, hopeful and regret.
