Questions
Quick answers.
Does Journalcade sync with Tradovate?+
Not yet. We’ve asked them for read-only access. Until then its export file brings every trade in, on every plan. NinjaTrader brokerage and Apex accounts on Tradovate too.
Which Tradovate export do I use?+
In Tradovate open Reports, then Performance. Pick the dates and download it as CSV. Each row is one round trip with its prices, before fees, so set your fees on the account.
Are my fees included?+
The P&L in the file is used as it is. Set your commissions on the account and Journalcade takes them off each trade.
Is importing free?+
Yes, importing a file is on every plan; the Free plan takes 30 new trades a month. Auto-sync is Pro.
Will a trade come in twice?+
No. A trade already in your journal is matched, not copied, so you can import overlapping dates.
